The world’s greatest marathoner of all time, Eliud Kipchoge, has returned to the field after a 6-month break.
The 41-year-old Kenyan superstar kicked off his “Eliud’s World Tour” with the Cape Town Marathon in South Africa. What’s special is that this is the first time he has participated in an official marathon on the African continent.
Although he finished the race in 16th place in 2:13:29, his goal was not to win. He plans to run 7 marathons covering all 7 continents in the next two years to encourage young people around the world to take up the sport.
Regardless of the venue, the marathon king is the eternal king. He has proven once again that his famous saying “No man has limits”.
