Danushka Matteo participated in the Puglia by (UTMB world Series race) in the Puglia region of Italy, the longest plateau in Europe, with a total distance of 146KM 3,749m+ elevation gain, in the 20-34 age group. 260 competitors participated in this race and Danushka managed to finish the race in 122nd place in 25 hours, 29 minutes and 39 seconds. It is noteworthy that 46% of the total competitors in this race could not finish the race. A finisher medal was also given to all those who completed this race.
