Sri Lankan squash ace Ravindu Laksiri, be able to win the Men’s title at the 44th National Squash Championship, which was well thought-out by the Sri Lanka Squash Federation (SLSF) recently.
A prominent feature of Laksiri’s triumph at this event was this being the 12th successive year in which he had emerged as the national squash champion.
In the Men’s Open final, which was played at the Squash Complex at the Ratmalana Sri Lanka Air Force base, Ravindu Laksiri beat Shamil Wakeel by three rounds to nil 3-0.
In the meantime, Chanithma Sinali emerged victorious in the Women’s Open category, who beat Yeheni Kuruppu by three rounds to one 3-1, in the final.
