Anumi Karunathilake brought an outstanding performance at the LECTRA July Monthly Medal Golf Tournament held at the Victoria Golf Resort, settling the Overall Winner Title. Karunathilake’s imposing play also earned her the Nearest to the Pin Award in the Ladies’ category.
In the Ladies’ separation, Roshini Sangani emerged as the Nett Winner with a commendable score of 68. In the meantime, Nisal Hettiarachchi claimed the Gents’ Nett Winner title with a nett score of 66. Sangani and Hettiarachchi’s reliable play throughout the tournament set them apart from their competitors.
Linda Haris tenable the Ladies’ Nett Runner-up title with a score of 76, and Nisith Gunawardena achieved the Gents’ Nett Runner-up position with a score of 68. Both players displayed strong presentations and added to the competitive spirit of the tournament.
In the Gross category, Iman Sangani was called the Ladies’ Gross Winner with a score of 97, while junior golfer Musa Shariff took the Gents’ Gross Winner title with a gross score of 78.
Rudrani Devidas, who over as the Ladies’ Gross Runner-up with a score of 122, also won the Longest Drive award in the Ladies’ category. In the Gents’ division, Sanjeewa Wickramanayake claimed the Gross Runner-up title with a score of 80.
Nisith Gunawardena made a prominent mark by winning the Nearest to the Pin award in the Gents’ group with a hole-in-one achievement. Additionally, Nisal Hettiarachchi, the Nett Winner, also claimed the Longest Drive title in the Gents’ division.
