Young motorsport star Yeven Ranasinghe made his 2026 racing debut with David Kiwi Motorsport when the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Cup in New Zealand got underway last weekend.
Having completed his maiden EuroFormula Open 2025 season at Monza, Italy, last October, Yeven now takes on the challenge of New Zealand’s premier motorsport event, now in its 21st round, and the race also serves as a warm-up before his Formula 3 debut in Australia later this March.
Concluding his first full season in EuroFormula Open 2025, Yevan lost the overall championship title to Poland’s Timek Kucharczyk by 17 points
