A meeting between the New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. Davis Pyne, and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mr. Sunil Kumara Gamage, was held today (16) at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Mr. Eranga Gunasekara, and Deputy Minister of Sports, Mr. Sugath Thilakaratne, also participated in the meeting.
The New Zealand High Commissioner stated that he would intervene to focus special attention on rugby and discussed measures that could be taken to enhance sports relations between the two countries.
