President’s College Maharagama Under-14 Hockey team was open as Joint champions against Prince of Wales College Moratuwa, with a scoreless draw in their Battle of Prides 5th annual Big Match encounter, organised and lead by the Old President’s Hockey Club, played at the Malay Padang, Colombo on last Friday.
Both teams going onto the field equally balanced, parents of the players of the two schools had a keen attention with joy to see their loved ones playing at this fifth annual Big Match encounter 2024.
All credit has gone to the principal for an inspiration given to Hockey at President’s College Maharagama also the Old Boys providing with the necessary support, Master in Charge, Academic Staff for their co-operation and coach who will guide them to become talented players in the future.
