Elina Rybakina defeats Aryna Sabalenka to win 2026 Australian Open singles title

World number one Elina Rybakina of Kazakhstan defeated Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus to win the 2026 Australian Open women’s singles title.
Elina Rybakina won the match 2-1.
Elina Rybakina won the first set 6-4.
Sabalenka won the second set 6-4.
Rybakina won the decisive third set 6-4.
This is the first time that the 26-year-old Rybakina has won an Australian Open.
