The Colombo Marathon, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is scheduled to be held on September 13th in Colombo.
Accordingly, registration for the Colombo Marathon has now commenced.
Participants can register using the QR code provided here or obtain more information by visiting the official website at www.colombomarathon.lk. Athletes wishing to participate must register before September 1st.
The tournament will be held under the following categories:
Full Marathon (42.195{ km})
Half Marathon (21.097\text{ km})
10 km Run
5 km Fun Run
1–2 km Kids Mini Marathon
A panel of 100 qualified officials from Sri Lanka Athletics will oversee the technical aspects of the event.
The Colombo Marathon is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with the vision of positioning Sri Lanka as a hub for sports tourism.
