The ‘2024 Mr. Universe India’ Bodybuilding Championship organised by the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation was held in Mumbai, in the State of Maharashtra, India on 21 and 22 September.
This specific bodybuilding competition had included in excess of 100 bodybuilders from both Sri Lanka and India who had competed in different eight categories.
Sri Lanka was represented in this competition by the captain of the Police Bodybuilding Team Sergeant K. D. Mayadunna who had brought glory to his country.
The Commandant of the STF SDIG Varuna Jayasundara functions as the head of the Police Bodybuilding Team while its Secretary is SSP D. G. H. Prashantha with Niranjan Kumara as its coach.
