Yeshan Esmitha, who participated in the men’s triple jump qualification round at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, has been selected for the finals of the competition with his excellent performance.
In this preliminary round, where the competition was at its peak, Yeshan managed to record a distance of 15.67 meters. With that strong achievement, he was able to secure his place in the final round by securing 8th place among the overall competitors. This victory, achieved while competing with many strong international athletes, is another step forward for the athletics sector in this country.
