The Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) will hold selection trials to form the National Water Polo Squad for the upcoming Bangkok Water Polo Invitational Cup. The trials will take place from October 19 to 21 at the Air Force Swimming Pool Complex in Ratmalana, opening at 8 AM each day.
The Bangkok Water Polo Invitational Cup will feature two categories: the Men’s Championship from December 5 to 8 and the Women’s Championship from December 13 to 15.
SLASU expects around 60 female athletes and 70 male candidates to participate in the three-day trials, representing leading schools and clubs across the country. The Water Polo Technical Committee aims to form a 26-member pool for each category to arrange for the tournament.
