A national holiday has been declared to celebrate Paraguay’s victory over Germany in the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
Foreign reports say that Paraguayan President Santiago Pena made the announcement.
Paraguay defeated four-time world champions Germany in the last 32 of the 2026 World Cup to reach the last 16.
