French superstar Michael Olise has broken the record for the most assists in a single World Cup, which had stood for 56 years.

Olise broke the record set by Brazil’s Pele in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico with six assists, and Oliseh has now provided his seventh assist in the tournament. His extraordinary ability to control the midfield and create opportunities for his teammates will undoubtedly go down in French football history.
