A meeting was held between Asian Rugby Federation President Kais Al-Dhalai and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sunil Kumara Gamage at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports today (18).
The current state of rugby was discussed and measures to be taken to develop Sri Lankan rugby were also discussed. Kais agreed to provide Asian Rugby Federation’s full support for this.
Asian Rugby Federation Vice President Rizwan Malik, Asian Rugby Federation Executive Committee members Benjamin van Rooyen, Asanka Seneviratne, Glarard Prabhu and National Selection Committee Chairman Priyantha Ekanayake were also present on this occasion.
