Musaeus College ended 6-years of agony to lay their hands on the silverware by beating Ladies’ College after 2018 at the 19th LC-MC Regatta held at the Beira surrounding the Colombo Rowing Club.

This year, Ladies’ College was led by Hayaa Hassen and the victorious Musaeus College getup was led by Yenushka Premaratne.

Ladies’ College gained last year’s Regatta under the captaincy of Mitali Wickramage to retain the trophy for the 12th time whilst Musaeus College won the Regatta last in 2018 under the leadership of Mayathi Weerakoon.

Previous Ladies’ College rowing captain and national oarswoman Ishara Abbey graced the event as chief guest this year.
