
The International Cricket Council has announced the latest ODI rankings. According to them, Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka has managed to advance two places to 6th place among ODI batsmen who are led by Shubman Gill.
Kusal Mendis, who showed great performance in the ODI series against Bangladesh, has advanced 10 places and is currently at 10th place.
However, Pathum Nissanka has slipped 6 places to 20th place, while Janith Liyanage has advanced 7 places to 44th place.
Meanwhile, Wanindu Hasaranga has managed to advance 11 places to 8th place in the ODI bowlers who are led by Mahesh Theekshana. Although Teekshana remains at the top, his ranking has dropped from 680 to 671. Dunith Wellalage has moved up 5 places to 31st.
It is also noteworthy that Asitha Fernando has moved up 23 places to 36th place. Dushmantha Chameera is at 99th place. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka, which was at 4th place in the ODI team rankings, has had to fall to 5th place due to a one-match loss to Bangladesh.
