US fast bowler Ali Khan’s Indian visa application has been rejected.
Hindustan Times and Times of India media reports say that his participation in the upcoming T20 World Cup is therefore uncertain.
Indian media reports quoting a comment made by Ali Khan on Instagram.
Ali Khan, 35, was born in Pakistan and later migrated to the US.
Meanwhile, foreign media reports that US team members Shayan Jahangir, Ehsan Adil and Mohammad Mohsin have also had their visa applications rejected because they are of Pakistani origin.
The 2026 T20 World Cup will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
