Ladies’ College demanded victory in both the Under-17 and Over-17 categories of the Western Province Open League Schools Netball Tournament 2025 at Henry Pedris Park in Colombo by beating Our Lady of Victories Convent, Moratuwa 11-8 and 15-14 in the two finals of the own age groups.
The tournament, prepared by the Western Province Netball Association (WPNA), featured four categories for schools Under 17 and Over 17, Over 40 veterans and inter-club women’s ‘A’ Division with 18 invited school teams participating.
Sharisha Vedamanikkam and Nashaya Silva of Ladies’ College gained the Best Player awards in the Under 17 and Over 17 categories respectively.
