Sunil Kumara Gamage, who was sworn in as the 21st Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, assumed office at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports today (19).
Sunil Kumara Gamage, who received his primary education from Olcott College, Galle, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree and a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a Senior Chartered Accountant by profession.
Sunil Kumara Gamage, who was elected to Parliament this time as a National List Member of Parliament of the NPP, is a former Deputy General Manager of the National Water Supply Board. He serves as a member of the Economic Council and the Colombo District Chairman of the National Scholars’ Organization.
