Sri Lankan sports physiotherapist and founder of the “Keniha” Sports Academy, Ravindra Kumarage, who lives in Italy, has qualified to join the official volunteer team (Team26) for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
He is among the limited 18,000 selected from 135,000 applicants worldwide. He won this opportunity after overcoming rigorous tests and tough training sessions as a foreigner in a team of mostly Italian nationals.
His professional background and over 25 years of experience in the sports industry were of great help in this.
