Asheen Madurasinghe and its judges Jagath Samarasekera and Janaka Samarasinghe are leaving the island for the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship.
The South Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship will be held in Thimphu, Bhutan from June 10 to 15. Ashen Madurasinghe is scheduled to compete for Sri Lanka in the +85 kg weight category for this championship. In addition, two international judges, Mr. Jagath Samarasekera and Mr. Janaka Samarasinghe, will participate in the annual conference and executive committee meeting of the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Association and will also judge the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship.
The Bhutan Bodybuilding Association is organizing this tournament under the full patronage of the National Olympic Committee of the country. The World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation (WBPF), Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Federation (ABBF) and South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Federation (SABPF) have given full permission for this.
