Sri Lanka advanced to the semi-finals of the Junior Davis Cup and Asia Pre-Qualifying Tennis Championships worked off in Kunchi, Malaysia recently.

The youths comprising of Mayooran Kubheran, Saha Kapilasena and Aahil Kaleel upheld their undefeated record by charming all the three matches with ease.

In the first-round match they beaten Bhutan and then followed it up by overcoming the Maldives.

In the quarter-finals, they got the better of Mongolia 2-1 with the Doubles come across not played due to an injury to a Mongolian player.

The Sri Lankan youngsters are down to encounter it out against Indonesia youngsters in the semi-final encounter.

Results:
(Sri Lanka beat Bhutan 3-0): Singles: Mayooran Kubheran (Sri Lanka) beat Jurmi Khedrup (Bhutan) 6-1, 6-2. Saha Kapilasena (Sri Lanka) beat Dorj Tshering (Bhutan) 6-0, 6-0. Doubles: Aahil Kaleel/ Mayooran Kubheran (Sri Lanka) beat Dorj Tshering/Urmi Khedrup (Bhutan) 6-0, 6-0. (Sri Lanka beat Maldives 3-0): Singles: Mayooran Kubheran (Sri Lanka) beat Mohammad Salaam (Maldives) 6-0, 6-1. Aahil Kaleel (Sri Lanka) beat Neyaz Adam Aal (Maldives) 6-0, 6-0. Doubles: Aahil Kaleel/Saha Kapilasena (Sri Lanka) beat Mohammad Salaam/Neyaz Adam Aai (Maldives) 6-2 and retried. 
Quarter-finals:
(Sri Lanka beat Mongolia 2-0): Singles: Aahil Kaleel (Sri Lanka) beat Zolbadar Urnukh (Mongolia) 6-4, 6-1. Saha Kapilasena (Sri Lanka) beat Zolbayar Ganbold (Mongolia) 6-0, 7-5.
