
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) recently donated 24 bowling machines to Major and Tier ‘B’ clubs under its
National Pathway Program.
The donation was made following a decision by Honorary President Mr. Shammi Silva and the SLC
Executive Committee, with the aim of enhancing training infrastructure and elevating standards of
domestic cricket in the country.
The machines were officially handed over during a special ceremony held over the weekend at the
Colombo Cricket Club.
The event was attended by SLC President Mr. Shammi Silva, Honorary Secretary Mr. Bandula
Dissanayake, and Head of the National Development Center, Mr. Kamal Dharmasiri.
“This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to uplift domestic cricket and provide clubs with the
necessary tools to enhance player development,” said Mr. Bandula Dissanayake, Honorary Secretary
of Sri Lanka Cricket.
