The finals of the Army Inter-Regiment Ruger Tournament, which began on 11 June 2024, concluded on 30 July 2024 at the Colombo Race Course. The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Sri Lanka Armoured Corps competed against the Gajaba Regiment during the final match.
In a challenging match, the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps team emerged victorious with a score of 14-0. Lance Corporal H.N.G. Salinda, representing the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, was awarded as the best player of the tournament.
The awarding ceremony of the final competition was presided by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage.
