South Africa sets record in Under-19 World Cup

In the 2026 Under-19 World Cup, South Africa achieved the record for the highest score by a team in an innings.
Batting first, they scored 397 for 5 against Tanzania.
The previous highest score in an innings was scored by Sri Lanka.
It was scored 387 against Japan.
This is also the highest score by South Africa in an innings in the history of the Under-19 World Cup.
Chasing a target of 398, Tanzania were all out for just 68 runs.
South Africa won the match by 329 runs.
