After standing as an international umpire in 18 tests, 132 one day Internationals and 85 Twenty20 Internationals in Mens Cricket, 22 one day Internationals and 8 Twenty20 Internationals in Womens Cricket, 78 first class matches, 57 years old SriLankan umpire, former first class cricketer Ruchira Palliyaguruge announced his retirement from all international Umpiring as he takes sudden decision unfortunately.
As former first class cricketer, Ruchira had 220 wickets with the ball and 4478 runs with the bat in his 124 matches first class career so far.
