Commander (Retd) G.N. Ranjith Wimalaratne of the Sri Lanka Navy received his appointment letter as the new Chairman of the Sugathadasa National Sports Complex Authority from the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports today (20).
A graduate of the University of Kelaniya, Mr. Wimalaratne served in the Sri Lanka Navy for 25 years and served as a Navy Commander upon retirement.
Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Eranga Gunasekara and Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne also attended the ceremony where the new Chairman of the Sugathadasa National Sports Complex Authority received his appointment letter.
