
Qualified cueist M.M. Mubeen of Army BC retained the National Masters Snooker Championship title for yet another year when he beaten another veteran W.M. Prasanna Pushpakumara of ICSC in a hard fought seven-frame final 4-2 at the BASL headquarters snooker table in Torrington.
Previously in the semi-final encounters, Mubeen overcame M.R.T. Chandana of BRC by four frames to nil while Pushpakumara got the better of M.J.M. Thasleem of Moors SC by four frames to two.
The championship saw the participation of 40 players on behalf of the leading cue clubs in Sri Lanka.
