An unforgettable moment for debutant Milan Rathnayake yesterday as he received his Test cap from the legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara before the first England Test commenced at Old Trafford Manchester. Milan turn into the 166th player to represent Sri Lanka in Test cricket.

The 26-year-old six footer Milan Ratnayake currently playing at Moors SC played 40 first class matches having 81 wickets with best figures of 5 for 36. He is a product of Sri Sumangala College Wariyapola and freshly performed well at domestic level to gain National Test cap. He was in Test squad of last Afghanistan match but couldn’t play the game.
