ICC reveals Men’s and Women’s ODI teams of the year

The International Cricket Council (ICC) exposed the Men’s ODI Team of the Year 2024, recognizing the top performers from across the globe. 

Sri Lanka dominates the list, with 4 players highlighted, including Charith Asalanka as captain. 

ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year 2024 includes:

• Saim Ayub (Pakistan)
• Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Afghanistan)
• Pathum Nissanka (Sri Lanka)
• Kusal Mendis (WK) (Sri Lanka)
• Charith Asalanka (C) (Sri Lanka)
• Sherfane Rutherford (West Indies)
• Azmatullah Omarzai (Afghanistan)
• Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka)
• Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan)
• Haris Rauf (Pakistan)
• AM Ghazanfar (Afghanistan)

Accordingly, the Women’s ODI Team of the Year honours exceptional players who left their mark in 2024. Chamari Athapaththu from Sri Lanka is among the stars celebrated for her impact in the format.
