Hashan Tillakaratne step down as Bangladesh women’s head coach

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Hashan Tillakaratne has resign as head coach of the Bangladesh women’s cricket team.

His resignation follows the team’s failure to secure straight qualification for the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup.

Tillakaratne definite his decision during Bangladesh’s latest tour of the West Indies, where they suffered defeats in both ODIs and T20Is.
