Sports Minister Harin Fernando said that the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah, has been officially requested to consider holding some matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Sri Lanka.
The minister mentioned this while attending a press conference held yesterday.
