The GTC Challengers team tired Kappaladi Kings team, Addalaichenai in the final to arise champions and bagged the ‘iGates Addalaichenai Premier League -2024’ champion trophy in the limited 08 overs cricket tournament sponsored by iGates International Group and worked off at the Public Grounds, Addalaichenai recently. Six veteran players Rafsan, Jaseel, Akram, Mifran, Risath and Ilyas from Addalaichenai have jointly organized the tournament to bring all players from 17 GN divisions in Addalaichenai under one umbrella.
The organisers have separated all the players in six cricket teams GTC Challengers, Kappaladi Kings, Mathurayadi Benchers, Sharqiyan Royals, Sadhanian Achievers and Chenaioor Worriers.
GTC Challengers won the Championship beating Kappaladi Kings in the final.
Main Sponsor IGates International Group Managing Director A.R.Arsath graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Champions GTC Challengers team was awarded Rs.40, 000.00 cash prize and trophy and the runner-up Kappaladi Kings team was awarded Rs.20, 000.00 separately from the trophy.
Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Best Bowler, Best Batsman and Emerging Player received awards.
