New Zealand’s Finn Elle smashed a 33-ball unbeaten century in the semi-final against South Africa, setting a new T20I record. The 17-year-old T20I World Cup record, which was held by Sri Lanka’s T. M. Dilshan, who scored 96 not out off 57 balls in the 2009 semi-final against West Indies, is the highest scorer in an innings in a T20I knockout match.
