The Sri Lanka A squad for the upcoming Asia Cup Rising Stars has been announced.
The squad named under the captaincy of Dunith Wellalage includes 15 players.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Qatar, and the Sri Lankan players are scheduled to leave the island today.
The Sri Lanka A team will compete in Group ‘A’ in the tournament. Sri Lanka’s opponents there are Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong China.
The first match that Sri Lanka A will play will be against Afghanistan on November 15.
Pramod Madushan has also been named in the squad and is scheduled to join the Sri Lanka A team after the conclusion of the ODI series against Pakistan.
