The 9th round of the Annual Trek4Ceylon Tour to Jaffna was magnificently decided after a four-day journey covering over 450 kilometers, the organisers expressed.

This year’s ride brought calm 70 cyclists from Sri Lanka, the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, France, Norway, Singapore, and Italy, united by a shared commitment to making a difference in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector.

The ride began in Colombo and followed a challenging yet rewarding route through Chilaw, Anuradhapura, Kilinochchi, and finally to St. Luke’s Methodist Memorial Hospital in Puttur – the heart of this year’s mission.

Trek4Ceylon has long been enthusiastic to driving change, and this year, the focus was on uplifting St. Luke’s Methodist Memorial Hospital, ensuring improved access to quality healthcare in the region.

More than just a physical challenge, this journey was evidence to teamwork, resilience, and purpose.

Each cyclist rode with the goal of creating a tangible influence, raising awareness and support for much-needed hospital improvements.

With the funds and awareness raised, the real transformation begins at St. Luke’s, confirming that the hospital receives the support it needs to continue serving the community, the organisers explained.

The Trek4Ceylon Tour to Jaffna is looking advancing to organising its 10th chapter in 2026.
