Zimbabwe has named a 16-man squad for the two-match ODI series beside Sri Lanka on 29 and 31 August in Harare, with veteran Brendan Taylor making his long-awaited return in 2021.
The side controlled by Craig Ervine, features senior players Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza, while fit-again pacer Richard Ngarava strengthens the bowling attack.
New faces consist of Clive Madande, Tony Munyonga, Brad Evans and uncapped seamer Ernest Masuku.
Selectors say the squad cartels “experience and energy” to challenge Sri Lanka in home conditions.
