The second leg of the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup cricket tournament has been postponed. The tournament was scheduled to begin in Sri Lanka on June 6.

However, the decision to postpone the tournament was taken due to the prevailing rainy weather conditions and the Chikungunya outbreak in the country, said Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi.

The tournament was reportedly postponed following a notification from Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva to the Asian Cricket Council.
