The schedule for the 2025 Men’s Asia Cup has been announced. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to September 28. India and Pakistan will compete in Group A. Sri Lanka will compete in Group B.

The preliminary round match between India and Pakistan will be played on September 14. The dates and schedule for the 17-day tournament were announced by Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chairman and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Keeping in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup, this year’s tournament will be played in the T20I format. For the first time, eight teams will participate in the tournament, an increase of two teams from the previous tournament. In addition to India and Pakistan, Group A also includes Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Sri Lanka is in Group “B” along with Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Afghanistan.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4 round, and the top two teams from that round will qualify for the final on September 28.
