Ashlin de Silva create amends after his loss of the ATF U16 CV2 Week 1 tennis tournament when he struck back to clinch the singles title in the second edition of the same tournament when he beaten Damsath Peiris by two sets to nil in the final played at the SLTA tennis courts at Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.
In the two semi-finals of the doubles event which was played in the evening Ashlin de Silva and Damsath Peiris overcoming additional Sri Lankan pair of Mark Grero and Udhera Gunasinghe by two sets to nil though Bishman Balarathnarajh and Naqeeb Hussain got the improved of D. Wickramasinghe of Sri Lanka and Jayaraj Penupotala of India by two sets to nil. The doubles final is scheduled to be played today.
