The 5th annual Hockey Big Match encounter between President’s College Maharagama and Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa will be held on Friday (18) at the Malay Padang, Colombo – 2 commencing at 4 p.m with the under-14 match at 2 p.m followed by the Old Boys match at 3 p.m.
This year’s annual Big Match encounter will be supported by the Old Boy’s Hockey Association of the President’s College Maharagama, where they have a 40 year’s rich and proud history of Hockey in College, which two of their Boy’s was selected to signify the Sri Lanka Junior Hockey team at the Asia Junior Hockey Cup Championship this year.
Primarily Hockey at President’s College Maharagama is improved by their Old Boy’s Hockey Association to oversee the development of hockey in the College, where the school has earned a reputed name in this Sport.
This year the President’s College Maharagama Hockey team will be headed by Suchira Satharasinghe whilst Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa Hockey team will be captained by Rasitha Ranketh.
