Lasith Malinga’s tenure as the Sri Lankan fast bowling coach has been extended until the end of the Twenty20 World Cup.
The agreement with Lasith Malinga to work with the Sri Lankan team only for the preliminary round matches of the World Cup was scheduled to end after yesterday’s match against Zimbabwe.
However, it has been decided to extend Lasith Malinga’s tenure as a consultant again, and the Sri Lankan cricket team decided that this is expected to prepare the Sri Lankan fast bowlers well.
