
The 55th Royal-Thomian Old Boys’ Golf encounter organised by the Royal-Thomian Golfers’ Guild, an event that upholds the rich sporting competition between Royal College and S. Thomas’ College, will tee-off on March 16 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
For over five decades, this annual tournament has brought organised generations of Royalists and Thomians, reinforcing the deep-rooted connection between the two schools while development a love for the sport of golf. What began as a gathering of old boys with a passion for golf has evolved into one of Sri Lanka’s most anticipated and renowned golfing events, drawing both seasoned veterans and emerging talents from the alumni networks of both schools.
This year’s 55th edition promises to be nothing short of remarkable, as top golfers from both sides prepare to battle it out for glory.
Leading the Royal College team is Wijitha Perera with Gamini Jayaweera being vice-captain. The Thomians will be spearheaded by Deannath Kulatunga with Rohan Fernando as vice-captain.
