Sri Lankan racer Yevan David creates history by securing the Rookie Championship title and concluding second overall in the 2025 Euroformula Open Championship.
He is the first Sri Lankan to accomplish both.
In the final leg at the Monza circuit, David secured a second-place end in Race two and a win in Race three, his sixth victory of the season.
The eighteen-year-old will now turn out to be the first Sri Lankan driver to contest in the FIA Formula 3 Championship after signing with AIX Racing for the 2026 season.
