{"id":9015,"date":"2025-06-01T11:31:37","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T06:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slsports.lk\/?p=9015"},"modified":"2025-06-01T11:31:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-01T06:01:38","slug":"team-returns-with-10-medals-srilanka-team-shine-at-thai-martial-arts-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slsports.lk\/si\/team-returns-with-10-medals-srilanka-team-shine-at-thai-martial-arts-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Team returns with 10 medals: Srilanka team shine at Thai Martial Arts Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sri Lankan national team has returned home winning after a spectacular performance at the 7th International and Thai Martial Arts Games and Festival, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 17 to 22 May.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition carried together over 600 athletes from more than 50 countries, making it one of the most competitive events of its kind globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team is bringing home 10 medals with three Gold, four Silver, and three Bronze in Muaythai and boxing events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the WMBF, WMO and UBF Sri Lanka Secretary General, this outstanding accomplishment is the result of the unwavering dedication of our coaching staff, tireless effort of the athletes, shared support among team members, and the strong team spirit displayed throughout the competition.
