I am proud to represent Sri Lanka on the international stage and hope to inspire more young racers from my country to pursue motorsport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motopark, famous for nurturing top-tier talent and securing numerous championship titles, has a strong track record of producing drivers who advance to the highest levels of single-seater racing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorpark Team Principal Timo Rumpfkeil expressed his assurance in David\u2019s potential: \u201cYevan has shown great promise in his career so far, and we believe he could be highly competitive in Euroformula Open. His work ethic, determination, and raw speed make him an exciting addition to our team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David\u2019s transition into Euroformula Open is also a landmark for Sri Lankan motorsport. As one of the few drivers from the region competing on the global stage, his progress is a source of inspiration for young racers from South Asia looking to break into international competition.&nbsp; Brands Merc Stop, Alcom and Dayholi as well as Ceylon Motor Sports Club (CMSC) sustenance David on his journey. Euroformula Open\u2019s 2025 season will see David compete against some of the brightest rising stars in motorsport, with races held at legendary circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, and Barcelona.
