The membership of Sri Lanka Cricket has unanimously adopted the audited financial statements for thefiscal year 2023, which recorded a net income of LKR 12.1 billion, reflecting a remarkable 105 percent increase compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audited financial statements were approved during an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on August 24, 2024, at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The significant rise in net income was primarily attributed to four key revenue streams: international cricket, domestic cricket, sponsorship agreements, and annual disbursements from the ICC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Audit Office has provided an unqualified opinion in its Auditor’s Report regarding the financial statements of Sri Lanka Cricket for the year ending December 31, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Shammi Silva, the President of SLC, expressed at the EGM that the unqualified opinion from the National Audit Office serves as a testament to the organization’s adherence to Sri Lankan laws and its commitment to financial transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
