The sport\u2019s local controlling body stated this in a media release over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RPICS Colombo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo was opened last Friday (28 Nov.) to provide accommodations members of the public who were displaced after their homes were submerged by floodwaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SLC has initiated the administrative staff of the RPICS to work closely with Government officials to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the relief centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Food distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SLC has also initiated providing daily meal packets to sustenance the relief efforts.
