Trinity College sportsmen received Colours and ‘Lion’ for their individual sports during their second term at the college hall recently.
Rugby player, weightlifter, boxer, and former senior prefect Abidh Jameel was awarded ‘Lion’ for weightlifting. He signified Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Youth Championships in Fiji recently.
In addition, three cricketers also received ‘Lion’. They were Supun Waduge, Viduka Dhammage, and Malith Ratnayake. J.M.S. Jayasinghe too won ‘Lion’ for Karate.
